Meet Chef Kevin Michael

From his early years as a teen raised on the East Coast, Chef Kevin Michael developed his passion for the art of culinary, primarily from the male mentors in his life.  In 2003 he enrolled at the Virginia Beach, VA campus of Johnson and Wales University, Culinary Arts Degree.  He continued honing his unique personal style and professional development, with distinguished service as an intern at Momma Melrose, a high end Italian restaurant at Disney World’s MGM Studios in Kissimmee, Florida. He was then hired as the Sous Chef by Odyssey Cruises for the District of Columbia special events and harbor tours. Chef Kevin Michael gained the respect of his peers throughout the nation, making him a sought after talent to open and create fine dining experiences in most major cities for upscale restaurants, such as Legal Seafood in New York City, NY and Washington, D.C., Yard House in Rancho Cucamonga, CA,  Cincinnati, OH, Scottsdale, AZ and several other locations.  Chef Kevin Michaels team routinely caters customized private dining events for private clients, including but not limited to Rosie O’Donnell, Alec Baldwin, Coach Brian Baker of the Indianapolis Colts and many others.  Chef Kevin Michael also has a Ghost kitchen in downtown Indianapolis called Side Piece. It is accessible through doordash, and ubereats.  Chef Kevin Michaels team  also takes pride in creating red carpet hospitality customized culinary expeirences for intimate and large scale occasions  


Private Dinner

Customized cuisines for all occasions


Pastrami thinly sliced 8 ounces  

Gruyere Cheese grated 2 cup 

Yellow Mustard 1/4 cup

Pickled Jalapeno 1 cup

Flour tortillas 4 E

Canola Oil 2 cups

Pancake Mix 1 cup

Water .75 cup

Spread mustard evenly over tortilla.  Add 1/4 cup gruyere cheese, 6 pickled jalapenos, and 3 slices of pastrami. 

Combine pancake mixture with water.  Mix well.

In shallow pan add oil and put heat to medium. Roll stuffed tortillas in pancake batter.  Put tortilla in hot oil seam side down for 2 minutes. Flip for an additional 2 minutes. Remove and rest on paper towel
